When checking your balance or recharging with coupons on the EZL TOP-UP App, you need to tag your physical card.

Usage history can be checked for up to the latest 20 transactions.

Recharge records can be found under 'Usage History > [Recent]' menu.

Points received from events or winnings will be sent to the ‘EZL TOP-UP’ App [Coupon],
and the validity period is 7 days from the sending date.

You will receive a notification through the App when point coupons are sent.

      Transportation: Bus, Subway, Taxi

      Convenience Stores Nationwide: 7-Eleven, CU, GS25, Ministop, etc.

      Restaurants: General restaurants, fast-food chains (McDonald's, Lotteria, Outback, etc.)

      Shopping: Duty-free shops, Olive Young, Daiso, E-Mart, etc.

      Cafe & Dessert: Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Gong Cha, Baskin Robbins, etc.

      Daily Life: Hospitals, pharmacies, CGV (cinema), etc.

      *However, payment may not be available at some franchise stores depending on the store situation.

      EZL Card is a prepaid anonymous card service, and refunds are not available for lost cards. If you wish to receive a refund for the remaining balance on your card, you must bring the card with you.

      'EZL TOP-UP' App.

      ※ The EZL TOP-UP App is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

      You can recharge your EZL Card with cash at convenience stores nationwide
      (7-Eleven, CU, GS25, E-Mart 24) and unmanned recharge machines
      at subway stations nationwide.

      Refunds due to payment failures or cancellations are refunded as coupons
      in the EZL TOP-UP App. You can recharge the refunded amount from
      the coupon to your card balance and use it.
      You will receive a notification through the EZL TOP-UP App when the coupon is issued, and the coupon will disappear 7 days after the date of issuance. (Cannot be reissued after expiration)

      Buses in Gyeonggi-do and Incheon will charge an additional fee for the next ride
      if you don’t tag your transportation card when you get off. Please be sure to tag
      your transportation card when you get off.

      You cannot transfer if you are riding the same route back-to-back (e.g., if you get
      off bus 35 and board bus 35, you cannot transfer; if you get off bus 35 and board
      bus 75, you can transfer).

    • A.

      Transit discounts do not apply, and for Gyeonggi and Incheon buses, a penalty of
      KRW 700 will be charged for the next public transportation ride.

      Yes, you can pay in taxis that have EZL’s payment terminals installed. Let the
      driver know that you are paying with a transportation card.

      If a transportation fare is paid in error, we need to see the following information
      so we can provide you with the correct guidance ① transportation card number,
      ② date and time of use, ③ boarding or alighting stop, ④ payment attempt, and ⑤
      other information. Please email us the above information. Please note that any
      additional fares incurred as a result of not tagging your transportation card upon
      alighting are non-refundable.

      The balance is displayed when you pay with your transportation card. You can
      check your transportation card balance using “EZL TOP-UP App”, and you can
      also check it at convenience stores (CU, GS25, Seven Eleven, Emart 24) or EZL
      Card charging stations that accept EZL Card (RF).

    • A.

      Transportation card balances can be refunded at convenience stores nationwide.
      Note that a refund fee applies.(Only amounts of 20,000 or less will be refunded
      in KRW)

      Prepaid transportation cards are bearer cards, so you can’t pause or refund
      transactions. You can only reload balances and refunds if you have a physical
      card.
